Jenova Rain
I’m Jenova Rain — a public communicator, former BIOSHACK founder, media guest, podcast host, and professional explorer of what it means to be human.
My work has evolved from body modification to biotechnology, probing ethics, body autonomy and human identity. I spent 17 years building and running BIOSHACK, a studio for body arts and implantable technology, which led to documentaries, radio interviews, public talks and a lot of conversations about microchips, identity, fear, curiosity and the future.
I’m mostly interested in the spaces where people stop accepting their default settings: body autonomy, transhumanism, sobriety, vegan ethics, mental health, technology, behaviour change and how we adapt when life gets wild.
I’ve appeared on BBC, Channel 4, radio, podcasts and live stages, usually explaining transhumanism and biohacking. My favourite conversations are the ones that start with something strange and end somewhere unexpectedly human.
At the centre of it all, my work is about human autonomy and adaptation — how people can choose to change and upgrade themselves and what we become when we do.
